Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Hillcrest has provided magnetic resonance imaging since 1988. This non-invasive imaging technology provides detailed pictures without ionizing radiation and no known side affects.
Hillcrest's Philips 1.5 NT offers unique advantages to other MRI systems including a spacious, open design. With wider openings, this MRI accommodates patients up to 550 pounds and the shorter bore length allows the patient's head to be outside the scanner for some exams.
Radiologists with fellowships in magnetic resonance imaging are able to diagnose diseases of the brain, spine, joints and other parts of the body using these computer generated images.
