Residency/Fellowship
Residency positions are readdressed on an annual basis available in Health Care Administration.
Participating Organizations:
- Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center; and
- Hillcrest Family Health Clinics
The Hillcrest Health System provides a unique opportunity for graduate and post-graduate training in health care administration. As a regional health system comprised of a hospital and primary care clinics in four counties, Hillcrest offers qualified individuals or graduates of health care administration schools an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of health care delivery settings.
The Residency/Fellowship Program is typically one year in duration. Candidates are selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants who must be either enrolled in a graduate program requiring a one-year Administrative Residency or have completed a Masters degree in business or a health care related field. The program includes rotations and special projects, with each Resident/Fellow completing a core rotation during the first part of the program. The program is flexible and can be tailored to the Resident/Fellow’s particular needs and interests. Residents are placed at Hillcrest each year through Baylor University's MBA-Healthcare Program.
