Continuing Medical Education for Physicians

The mission of the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center’s Education Department is to provide a continuum of medical education for practicing physicians.  Our educational opportunities will enhance a physician’s knowledge base, their technical proficiencies, and interpersonal skills through the use of lectures and labs.  Our primary purpose in offering Continuing Medical Education is to positively impact the areas of patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, and physician satisfaction.

Our educational offerings are comprehensive and include our Pediatric Grand Rounds, Tumor Board Series, Physician Update Series and our Hillcrest Grand Rounds.  Our primary method of teaching is didactic lectures, addressing specific course objectives and goals for each activity.

Our primary target audience for our continuing medical education offerings is practicing physicians, of all specialties, at the local and community level.
