Drs. Sara George and Shobha Karan

Dr. George joined Hillcrest to open the new Senior Health Center.  Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. George is fellowship trained in geriatrics from Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA.  She completed her family medicine residency at Montgomery Family Practice, Norristown, PA after earning her medical degree overseas.  Dr. George is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Geriatric Society. 

Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center welcomed geriatric specialist, Shobha Karan, M.D., to the Waco community in November 2010.  Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Karan is fellowship trained in geriatrics from University of Connecticut Health Center.  After earning her medical degree overseas, Dr. Karan completed a residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY.  She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Geriatric Society.
