QI Coordinator/Peer Review Coordinator

Provides operational oversight for the hospital medical peer review process. Ensures the process is instrumental in identifying, tracking, and improving processes to resolve clinical performance and/or unprofessional conduct issues in a manner that promotes education, improvement and patient safety. The Peer Review Coordinator collaborates with medical staff leadership, the Director of Quality and other departments to improve the quality of care to the patients we serve.

Ability to demonstrate- utilize word, excel, power point. Knowledge of basic skills in leadership, management, teaching, communication and patient care in general nursing. Works well with others in a team oriented environment, including support of other co-worker's job duties in a manner that further advances the goals and objectives of the whole organization.

BSN preferred, requires a current TX RN license. Minimum of 5 yrs hospital experience.
