Staff Chaplain
The staff chaplain provides routine pastoral care visits as well as responds to crisis calls across the Hillcrest System. Chaplains attend to all deaths at Hillcrest and oversee the death protocol to insure proper care of the deceased. They oversee and complete all Advance Directives as requested by patients or physicians

Qualifications Include:
Education:
1. Bachelor degree from accredited college or university or the equivalent.
2. Degree from accredited theological seminary.
3. Endorsement by denomination or faith group.
4. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
5. Board Certified Chaplain with BCCI, NACC, or NAJC (or in the active process of certification).
Experience:
1. At least 1 year of experience during CPE training.
2. Two years pastoral care experience preferred.
Licensure Required:
Board Certified Chaplain with BCCI, NACC, or NAJC (or in the active process of certification).
Social Worker
The Social Worker position provides psychosocial services to customers of theSocial Services Department either directly as counseling and support orindirectly as referral, linkage, and advocacy with other resources.
Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, located at Herring Campus
Two (2) Part Time positions at I-35 Campus, 8-12 hr shifts, every other weekend
Advanced Instructor for ACLS/PALS
The Advanced Instructor position will assist in coordinating and teaching Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses utilizing the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association for our Hillcrest staff. Must be a current ACLS and/or a current PALS Instructor through the American Heart Association with at least one year of teaching experience.
Must have either a current Texas RN license, RRT, or EMT-P.
PRN, rotating shifts as needed.
Clinical Pastoral Education Associate Supervisor
Responsibilities include:
Recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, orienting, teaching, supervising, & evaluating CPE Interns; lead orientation and didactics and verbatim for CPE Residents; Administrative functions releated to the CPE Program.
Qualifications include:
ACPE Associate Supervisor; min of Master's degree in related field; supervision exp in an accredited CPE Program; 2 yrs Chaplaincy exp in a medical setting; Certification by the College of Chaplains or ACPE.
