Full Time, Days (some evenings and weekends)
The position facilitates educational meetings; collects and tabulates data pertaining to the need for education and awareness of underage drinking and substance abuse; makes reports and prepares presentations to enhance understanding by the community of the importance of prevention and intervention of underage drinking and substance abuse. This position also coordinates and conducts activities and events that lead to motor vehicle injury prevention for teens in general, by addressing novice and risk taking behaviors in addition to discussion of consequences.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience with at risk teens and/or pre-teens, community service programs, education or healthcare field desired.
- Completion of undergraduate degree in health services or related field desired, but not required.
Compliance Auditor - Coding & Billing
Full Time - Days
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing accuracy of HBMC’s revenue cycle operations in accordance with the National Correct Coding Initiatives (CCI) for the appropriate reimbursement. The incumbent will also carry the responsibility for assigning, monitoring, auditing and analyzing the assignment of CPT procedure codes, HCPCS procedure codes, billing for location and appropriate modifiers.
A minimum of five years of progressive healthcare coding and/or patient financial experience required. Must possess the ability to achieve results in an independent manner under limited supervision and must be comfortable operating in a collaborate environment. Experience should be non-standardize and widely varied involving complex variables of importance requiring analytical and inductive thinking. Must have a broad based knowledge of hospital operations, including a working understanding of coding, financial functions, as well as information systems to allow for effective auditing of clinical documentation, interpreting data and validating billing outcomes.
Education / Certifications:Associate degree required; a bachelor degree strongly preferred. Appropriate AHIMA or AAPC certification with RHIA, RHIT or CCS to demonstrated coding expertise.
Social WorkerThe Social Worker position provides psychosocial services to customers of the Social Services Department either directly as counseling and support or
indirectly as referral, linkage, and advocacy with other resources.
One (1) Full Time position in the Emergency Department.
Monday - Sunday, 9am-7pm. Seven days on / Seven days off.
