Anesthesia Tech
Sets up equipment in surgery/anesthesia; cleans and restocks anesthesia equipment; orders and stocks supplies throughout the hospital.
FT rotating shifts
Sterile Processing Technician
Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes and assembles surgical instruments and misc equipment required for surgery and patient care. Candidate must be detail-oriented and a team player. Hands-on training provided. Must register for the certification exam following 6 months training period. Must have certification by 9 months from the start date. Both evening and day shifts are available in FT positions.
Nurse Techs
Join the Nurse Tech Program at Hillcrest!
Our Nurse Techs are PRN Unit Based.
Qualifications: Must be enrolled in an accredited RN Nursing Program. Must have completed at least the first semester of clinical coursework. Must attend Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center nursing orientation as well as Nurse Tech orientation.
Please include the following with your application:
- A copy of your current CPR card
- A copy of all completed skills checklists from your nursing program
- A letter of recommendation from at least one instructor
- Copy of current grades with a GPA at least 2.5 (If your grades are not available by the time you turn in your application, please bring them to Human Resources prior to the day you interview)
Certified Surgical Technician
Hillcrest Surgery Center - PRN
Labor & Delivery - PRN, weekends as necessary
Surgery - FT weekends, PRN, Saturday & Sundays only
GI Tech
To provide assistance to the physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures and to maintain the procedure room, equipment, and supplies in readiness at all times; provide direct and indirect patient care as assigned by the RN. Certified Nurses Aide, EMT Certified, or letter from accredited nursing program stipulating completion of one (first) semester.
CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE
All Unit Assistant MUST have current CPR certification before starting.
Ortho/Neuro: FT days, PRN as needed
Oncology: FT 7p-7a
General Surgery: FT 7a-7p
SICU: FT 7p-7a
Pediatrics: PRN 7p-7a
Hospital Float Pool: PRN rotating shifts
Clinic Float Pool: PRN as needed
Inpatient Rehab: FT 7a-7p
Skilled Nursing Facility: FT 7a-3p, FT 7a-7p
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT--CLINICS
Clinic Float Pool: PRN as needed
Pedi Pavilion: Full-Time, days
