Women & Children's Receptionist

|The receptionist works under the supervision of the nursing director and nurse managers and performs general receptionist / clerical duties in the Women's and Children's Center. The receptionist greets all visitors in a friendly and helpful manner; assists with location of patients; and directs visitors. The receptionist also assists with granting visitor admission to and departure from patient care units in the Women's and Children's Center. Clerical duties include data entry, typing, filing, and other duties as assigned.|
Coding Specialist - Cancer Center

The Coding Specialist analyzes codes and abstracts clinical information from the medical record, and accurately and efficiently enters charges while abiding by policies and procedures and code of ethics.
Three years coding experience required.
High school education with Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and/or Certified Coding Assistant (CCA), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).

Patient Access Associate I
Scheduling/Insurance Verification Department
The Patient Access Associate I exhibits a high level of customer service while scheduling, verifying and preparing all patient accounts for inpatient and outpatient billing in order to maximize payment for Hospital and Clinic services from all sources. Reviews and verifies all payment methods available (insurance, self-pay, agency), scheduled procedures, authorization/referrals and verifies patient/insurance information, works with patients to set up payment arrangements and to arrange/apply for assistance programs, assists in collecting copayments and deductibles, and problem solves basic billing inquiries.
